Day-to-Day

No two days are the same when you're teaching in a Cambian School. Each day begins with preparing for your pupils and planning how best to support their individual learning needs, ensuring lessons are tailored, engaging and accessible.

Throughout the day, you'll deliver creative and personalised lessons that help pupils build confidence, make progress and overcome barriers to learning. You may be working one-to-one, with small groups, or supporting pupils to re-engage with education in a way that suits their needs and abilities.

Alongside classroom teaching, you'll work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and wider support teams to ensure every pupil receives a consistent and joined-up approach. You'll also support emotional wellbeing, manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way, and help pupils develop essential life skills.

Your day may also include attending reviews, contributing to education and care plans, and celebrating progress and achievements—no matter how small. Whether it's a breakthrough in learning, improved confidence or a positive interaction, every success matters.

Above all, your role is about creating a safe, structured and inspiring learning environment where pupils feel understood, supported and able to achieve their potential.
