The role : Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant at a Cambian School, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential. Day-to-Day

No two days are the same as a Teaching Assistant. You'll work closely with teachers to support learning, helping pupils engage with lessons, build confidence and make progress towards their individual goals.

Your day may include supporting pupils one-to-one, working with small groups, assisting with classroom activities, managing routines, and encouraging positive behaviour. You'll also play an important role in supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing, independence and social development.

Alongside classroom learning, you may get involved in enrichment activities, educational visits, outdoor learning and practical experiences that help bring learning to life. Every day offers opportunities to celebrate achievements, build positive relationships and help pupils reach their full potential.
