The role : Team Leader

As a Team Leader at Cambian, you'll play a key role in creating safe, supportive and nurturing environments where children and young people can thrive. Working alongside Residential Support Workers and management teams, you'll help lead by example, providing guidance, encouragement and support to both colleagues and the young people in your care.

Day-to-Day

As a Team Leader, no two days are the same. You'll work closely with children and young people, supporting daily routines, activities and positive experiences, while also helping to lead and guide your team throughout each shift.

Your day may involve coordinating activities, supporting young people with education and life skills, attending appointments, completing records and ensuring care plans are followed effectively. You'll also play an important role in mentoring colleagues, providing guidance, sharing knowledge and helping to create a positive team culture.

Our homes operate 24 hours a day, so you'll work a variety of shifts, including long days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins or waking nights depending on the service. Alongside the day-to-day responsibilities, you'll help ensure the home remains a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where children and young people can feel valued, build confidence and achieve their potential.
