Cambian Hereford School Celebrates Student Success with Rewarding Ninja Warrior Trip

Students at Cambian Hereford School rounded off the Spring Term with an action-packed and rewarding trip to Ninja Warrior in Gloucester, celebrating their hard work, resilience, and achievements throughout the term.

The visit provided an exciting opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, face challenges head-on, and support one another as they tackled the demanding obstacle course. Both staff and students embraced the day with enthusiasm, working together to overcome fears, build confidence, and, most importantly, have fun.

The trip was part of a newly introduced house point system at the school, designed to recognise and reward positive engagement and achievement. Students were placed into one of three houses — Bulldogs, Panthers, and Eagles — and earned points across the Spring Term in a variety of ways. These included subject-specific challenges, whole-school activities, and demonstrating positive attitudes, behaviour, and engagement in lessons.

A key element of the initiative was student voice, with pupils playing an active role in choosing their end-of-term reward. The Ninja Warrior trip was selected as the preferred outing, and those who accumulated enough house points were invited to attend, alongside opportunities to earn bonus rewards.

Following the high-energy activities, students enjoyed a well-deserved McDonald’s lunch, rounding off a day that was both memorable and meaningful.

The trip marked a fitting end to a successful Spring Term, highlighting the many accomplishments of Cambian Hereford students. Staff praised the pupils for their dedication and progress, noting that the day reflected not only their achievements but also the strong sense of teamwork and community within the school.

Overall, it was a fantastic way to celebrate success, strengthen relationships, and look ahead to the continued growth and achievements in the months to come.
