School Trip to Shrewsbury Prison

HM Prison Shrewsbury was a category B/C men's prison in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. It was decommissioned in March 2013, and is now open to the public. Students visited Shrewsbury prison which provided a unique, immersive learning experience. It engaged our students with thought-provoking activities that included a guided tour about prison life and our justice system. Furthermore, students had the opportunity to undertake a memorable escape room experience in a former prison cell. Students thoroughly enjoyed the challenge using teamwork and problem-solving skills.
