Earth Day 2026!

Earth Day 2026!

Earth Day is an annual global event celebrated on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

At Hill House we wanted to mark this occasion by encouraging everyone to join in a whole range of different activities throughout the day.

Young people made their own seed blessings, took part in planting activities and made mini wildlife ponds These activities encouraged biodiversity…insects, butterflies, bees and water borne creatures!

There was also an outdoor natural art workshop where young people used rope and string salvaged from beach cleans, to make a giant sculpture.

The day was great fun and provided an opportunity to come together and promote the importance of looking after our planet whilst celebrating its beauty.
