S studied Functional Skills English Level 2, Functional Skills Mathematics Level 2, and a Level 2 Certificate in Psychology whilst attending Cambian Wing College.
Since leaving Wing College S attended three interviews for paid employment roles. During one interview, she performed so well that although a paid position was not available, she was offered a voluntary staff role for one day a week at a SEND nursery in Salisbury.
With encouragement from support workers, S developed strong social skills, made many friendships, and built positive relationships with support staff. She also passed her driving theory test, demonstrating continued progress towards greater independence.
S is now working towards taking her practical driving test.
