'The Traitors' at Cambian Scarborough School

On Thursday 12th February the staff and students at Scarborough School completed some Mental Health related tasks to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week. Throughout the day students completed various workshops to help them appreciate the importance of good mental health.  Alongside these tasks, the school organised a 'Traitors' style event inspired by the popular BBC One programme. At the start of the day the staff and students were assigned a role. They were either a “Faithful” or a 'Traitor', at the end of each workshop the school was split into two teams. Each team was given a task which needed to be completed to earn points, however the “Traitors” in the group had to try and made their team lose as many points as possible.

The students and staff had to complete different teambuilding tasks together to gain points while the 'Traitors' had to lose as many points as possible during the task without being caught! At the end of each task the students gathered to the ‘roundtable’ and voted who they thought was the Traitor and why.

The students and staff really enjoyed the event, they all played a good game and demonstrated amazing team work and cooperation whilst having lots of fun finding the Traitors!
