Q. Do you feel your family member is treated with dignity and respect?
"He is treated with the utmost dignity and respect. For instance – knocking on his bedroom door before entering. Teaching and encouraging him to do things for himself wherever possible."
Q. Do you feel your family member is given the opportunity to be part of their community?
"He spends a lot of time in the local community and very much enjoys it. He’s really settled well in Salisbury. He visits local parks, his local café and spends a lot of time walking and exploring his community."
Q. Do you feel your views are sought and listened to?
"Josh (Registered Manager) will always ask my thoughts, feelings and opinions regarding my son if ever necessary. This has made me feel very much a large part of his life at all times. Josh’s transparency is what makes him the most wonderful manager that he is in my humble opinion. If Josh says anything it is always delivered to me in the kindest, factual and informative way.
If I could send every adult like my son to Stratford I would."

"Thank you once again for your kindness and professionalism you’ve shown towards both J and our family.
It feels like forever ago that you met J and we all fell in love with Stratford Lodge. Thankfully the challenge and hard fight we all put up for J proved to be the best thing that could ever happen to him moving into adulthood.
It’s wonderful that your staff are spending so much time with J at Hill House and learning all about him and his beautiful little ways. It sounds as though he was very comfortable and enjoyed himself greatly.
How precious you gave J the opportunity to choose his own bedroom. That is a magical way to ensure that J is already able to make choices in his new forever home and be party to this massive change. That, as a parent is where I feel the Cambian Group and their ethos is outstanding.
I have seen first hand how you yourself and those at Hill House are wholeheartedly committed to seeing that those already living with you are your absolute priority.
